What is Embed Anything?

It's an enterprise technology that websites integrate in order to give their readers and users an approved alternative to taking content and reposting it on their websites the old fashion way. It is preferred that you embed the article or image you you wish to publish on your own website or blog by using the Embed Anything code snippet.

This code, when pasted within your website's HTML, will render out:

• The text/image you copied
• A link back to the source
• An ad

Do I need to do anything besides paste the code into my website's HTML to get the text I copied from the article to appear?

Why is there an ad appearing? Who's ad is this?

The ad is appearing so that the Publisher can be properly thanked for the use of their content. The ad could be could be the Publisher's, or it could be Embed Anything's.

Why would I want to use this code instead of just taking the text or image directly and reposting it onto my website?

If a website has enabled Embed Article or Embed Image Technology, this means it is the preferred method for you to use their content. Some websites take their copyright very seriously and may contact you if you have taken their content via copy & paste. More importantly, it's the right thing to do. You wouldn't want someone to take your content because it could hurt your page rank value, and potentially your SEO. Respect the Publisher's wishes by using the Embed Anything code snippet so that they can receive the proper attribution for producing the content.

How come less text is showing up than I copied?

Some Publishers set a limit on the number of words you can copy from a single article.

I have inappropriate/illegal content on my website, is it OK for me to embed an article or image?

No, unfortunately it is not. Due to Publishers not wanting their content to appear next to inappropriate or illegal content, similar to advertisers and ad networks, we ask that you not embed any articles on your website using our technology. If we recognize that your website has inappropriate or illegal content and are using, or attempting to use Embed Anything Technology, the article/image will immediately be removed and your website will become blacklisted from ever using Embed Anything in the future.

The code did not seem to work. The text I copied is not showing up. What should I do?

Try hitting the refresh button and then see if it works. If it still is not working, please contact us at help@embedanything.com with a link to the page you are embedding on.

Is there a limit to the number of articles or images I can embed on a single page?

Yes – we limit you to one article/image embed per page.

Can I embed multiple articles/images on my website, all on different pages?

Yes – feel free to embed as many as you want, as long as they appear on different pages.
